Victoria Sarquisse is a professional dancer, trained gymnast, master fitness instructor, spin, weight training, dance instructor and personal trainer with over 18 years of experience teaching flexibility, dance and fitness classes.
Victoria Sarquisse, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina; started her artistic career in Ballet as young as 3 years old. As a very active child, she could not stop flipping, swinging, and climbing…so her mom signed her up for Gymnastics. What started as a hobby ended up as a lifestyle; just a few years later she became a member of the National Gymnastics Federation of Argentina competing at national and metropolitan championships. As part of the gymnastics curriculum (which included dance and classical training) she studied Ballet with a dance instructor, prima ballerina, and performer of the “Teatro Colon” – one of the top 5 theatre venues in the world. After 15 years of hard training, Victoria was invited to the U.S. as a recipient of a scholarship in gymnastics. She taught Gymnastics and Ballet at Browns Gymnastics in Orlando and LaFleurs Gymnastics in Tampa, Florida.
Victoria has experience and studies in Flexibility, Yoga, Spin, Weight Training, Personal Training and Nutrition. She is AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) Certified and holds a Therapeutic Exercise Specialty Certification through the American Council of Exercise, including: Pre and Post Natal Fitness, Major Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Diseases and Disorders, Metabolic Diseases and Disorders, Cardiovascular Nutrition and Fitness, Chronic Musculoskeletal Challenges. She has taught and help build programs at many gyms around the U.S. such as Gold’s Gym, YMCA, UCF Athletic Dept, Lifestyle Family Fitness and Powerhouse Gym. Victoria teaches at her own studio in Tampa where she develops flexibility trainings and postural therapies to clients with specific needs.
Victoria graduated with Honors from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and holds a Masters degree in Interpersonal Communications with special research on Business and Cross-Cultural/ International Communication. Victoria worked as a university Adjunct Professor for over 6 years and during the last 15 years she has been committed to the investigation and clinical research of flexibility from the methodological, physiological and functional aspects applied to different stages of people’s lives. She is the Founder and CEO of TANGOFLEX®.
