The Tangoflex Method, created by Victoria Sarquisse, is an interdisciplinary system that focuses on strength, balance and flexibility and works the body (and mind) through the application of techniques used in gymnastics, fitness, ballet and tango.

Who I’m

I’m Victoria Sarquisse, Founder of TANGOFLEX®, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and live in sunny Florida. Mother of two, professional tango dancer, educator, performer, former competitive gymnast, master fitness instructor, trainer and author with over 18 years of experience teaching flexibility and body mechanics. Started ballet and gymnastics at the young age of 3. Gymnastics would eventually become my life when a few years later, I became a member of the National Gymnastics Federation of Argentina and competed intensively for 12 years.

Taught and helped build fitness programs at many gyms around the U.S. such as Gold’s Gym, YMCA, UCF Athletics, Lifestyle Family Fitness and Powerhouse Gym and worked with Parkinson’s patients in helping improve their quality of life.

TANGOFLEX® is inspired by Victoria’s passion for the art of tango, fitness and pursuit of living a healthy, flexible and empowered life.
